With Burton Snowboards acquiring Forum Snowboards, there was a resurgence in the brand with renewed product focus, marketing plans and distribution channels put in place.

I was responsible for bringing Forum Snowboards to market in Europe with the key tenants of the marketing plan being :

Build a best in class European team

Lead a pan european movie tour in partnership with reps in key territories

Create a youngblood grassroots events

Focus on premium one to one consumer engagements at demos, movie premieres and athlete meet and greets.

Below are some of the best examples of some of the marketing activations we put into place to launch seasonal innovations.

First Chair, Last Call

With the launch of the new apparel focused movie from Special Blend, we wanted a way to connect our apparel to physical events so we took the key color way and blew it out on our tour van. It was a guerrilla marketing exercise rolling up to other brands events and then taking over with our own event, for free all over with in 30 mins.

Forum Forever House Parties

With limited budget we wanted a way to connect with our core consumer across Europe who we knows is waiting for the latest snowboard films every year. Hence we powered up crews around Europe to hold their own shows, providing them with T Shirts, DVDs, drinks. This was the invite we sent out. Simple but oh so effective.

 
 

Chillydog Snowboards

With our newest innovation launching we wanted to have a memorable and socially shareable way to bring in as many consumers into our ecosystem and so purchasing a hot dog stand and driving that to key events around Europe became the best way to bring new riders into the family.
